Our Goal is to Provide You With the Last Rack You Will Ever Buy.

The ALTA SIX General Purpose Rack (GPR) and our other products are among the most adaptable and dynamic systems ever designed. They were created to withstand the rugged terrain of Utah, from the 11,000 feet peaks of the Wasatch to the unforgiving landscape of Moab.

We strive to offer affordable, highly-engineered solutions for riders and families to maximize their outdoor experiences without having to spend a fortune. We believe that our racks can handle any adventure, so you only need one for all of your gear. Our products are hand-built in Utah and designed with cost and weight in mind, ensuring that we provide the lightest and strongest bike racks and accessories on the market.

“What an incredible company, experience and product. I rolled in after hours and they patiently took the time to set the rack system up on my truck. They walked me through options, they guided me through the set up and I left there facility at 7pm with an awesome rack :-). I am a customer for life.”

  • Developing cutting-edge solutions and breaking the mold of possible.
  • Using the latest technology in simulation and analysis, we have created the ALTA SIX General Purpose Rack (GPR).

  • We source, and build all in the USA
  • The ALTA SIX GPR has gone through rigorous testing in the mountains and deserts of Utah, Colorado, and Idaho over the past four years.

We have over 30 years of combined experience in military-grade equipment design and rugged systems design work.

Our owner and engineer has a career in designing products for the US military and other agencies, and we started this business because we were tired of being misled and receiving subpar products. We design our products to adapt to your needs, not the other way around. Our goal is to build an environmentally conscious, low-footprint manufacturing business that produces uncompromising solutions and defies the odds.

We are committed to providing the best customer service experience possible throughout the life of your rack. Our products use military and rugged off-road product design methodology to create the lightest, strongest, and most versatile system on the market, disrupting the current limitations set by lack of imagination.

Our team has spent thousands of hours designing and developing our products, using simulation and real-life testing to prove their reliability and function. We continue to perfect our products, ensuring that our customers have the best experience possible. Using military-grade MIL-STD 810F product development methodology, our ALTA products ensure long-term reliability.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your rack. However, we do ask that you research our rack to ensure that it is the correct setup for you before purchasing it. If you need to return the rack, please note that if it is unboxed, you will need to pay for return shipping and any non-refundable credit card fees (usually around 3%). If you assemble the rack and then decide to return it, we will need to re-powder coat the rack, which costs $150. This fee will be deducted from your refund once we inspect the returned rack. If you have used the rack and then want to return it, you will be responsible for return shipping, credit card fees, the powder coat charge, and any replacement parts or labor that are needed to make the rack new again.

However, our return rate is extremely low, and you may be able to sell the rack locally and get your money back. If you do decide to sell the rack, please send us an email with the new owner’s name and email so that we can transfer ownership to them. This will allow the new owner to purchase parts and upgrades easily.

At our business, we believe in treating our customers fairly, respectfully, and with empathy. We are a family-owned business, not a corporate giant. If you have a special circumstance or need assistance, please give us a call.
