In 2017 I designed an electric winch system that would lift the rack and lower it. I thought it was excessive and expensive to build. Plus our design with the short main beam and auto locking latch helps with pushing the rack back to locked position. The offset of the rack that creates the area where you can stand and be away from bikes creates a different approach to operating the rack. We designed the rear strap mount to help with the swinger weight distribution. We are going to test this over the next few months to see how well it will do as an winch for lifting the rack back up with bikes on. Innovation and engineering is what drives us, we will never stop either. Hand built in Utah USA.
