I haven’t had a real good chance use this yet but I have hung a couple bikes in it and have initial impressesions. First off I installed my upside down because the bike hangs too low. If you where clamping a top tube that way would work. I have 3 repair stands now (feedback and park tools are the other 2) and this one just might be better then both of those. Time will tell. The clamp is as good as the others. But the rotation design is way better. It unlocks and locks really easy and has a tooth system to lock it together so your bike will never sag down and you don’t have to tighten the hell out the pivot clamp to keep it from happing. Also with this I don’t have to haul my Feedback stand around. This one fits under my seat and the car or truck make for a better base then any other repair stand.

We are enjoying our Alta rack. First road trip in our sprinter van dropping daughter off at UofO and exploring Pacific Northwest. Transported 3 mnt bikes along the way. Rack works amazingly well, stable on and off roads. No need to utilize the bike repair stand as of yet but I expect it will be very valuable

I haven’t really used it a ton yet, so I don’t really know how It will hold up with time. However, it seems to be really Sturdy and functional; it’s also at the perfect height.
